Found Puppy
Followed a friend of ours on her morning walk. When she stopped to chat, pup stayed. And stayed, and stayed. I had to walk to library this afternoon. Pup came. Pup got into schoolyard, I walked off, thinking, good, maybe some kid will recognize it. Pup heard my footsteps leaving, raced to the end of the fence, wriggled under, and came back home with me.
Missy has spiked his nose three times now, I think he gets it that he cannot come in. I put "Found Puppy" sign on fence, hope someone comes to claim him. Will walk up the road later, knowing he'll (or she'll) follow, hoping it will recognize it's home & stay. Sheesh. It's kind of cute, but honestly, we can't have a dog here, not until the new place.
My husband won't even look at it. I gave it water, it's hot out there.
Speaking of new place- we're still waiting to initial that newest batch of papers, but you knew that.
